I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin and thought that is where I would always live. At the age of 18 or so there came about a great change in my life as I went to serve the homeless in Chicago. On that missions trip to Chicago, I gave my live to the Lord and everything changed. A few years later I was living in Guatemala working in a orphanage and life has never been the same. Since that time I have spent most of my time in the last 15 years living over-seas serving the Lord. I have been in YWAM for about 10 years, during that my focus has really been on going to the nations and disciplining others along the way, Discipleship Training Schools. I am currently serving in Kona Hawaii focusing on the unreached of the world.  I have a heart to see many great DTS leaders trained up, and students sent to the nations to see a lasting impact for Lord.

I finally got the woman of my dreams to marry me in(2006), and now we now have three children and living life as a family in missions.

I’m a girl from a small country town in East Tennessee whose dreams continue to be fulfilled by God & expectations blown out of the water by where He is leading me… As I said, I grew up in Gray, TN on a farm with my Daddy, Momma, & Sister, Niki. Through God’s provision I grew up in a Christian home with strong family ties. I learned about Jesus in the home and church, so accepting Him into my life was a sensible decision for my young 10 year old life. However, the relationship really started to “come alive” through a 3-day spiritual experience (I hesitate to say “retreat”) I had in high school called “Chrysalis.” There I realized the depth, height, width, & length of God’s love for me and this led me into a pursuit of a love relationship with Him. I continued on at this pace, finished college at Carson-Newman College, and even felt led to get my Masters in the Art of Teaching. But after all this, I finally felt “released” in God to do a Discipleship Training School with Youth With A Mission in Townsville, Australia. Just as my heart desired, this was a catapult into missions for me, where I’ve since then gone into Thailand, Indonesia, & Australia sharing the Love of Christ. I love discipling and being able to show people (through daily living) the incredible love of God. Through this, I met and fell in love with an amazing guy, Cory. Our story is ours…but we were so aware the whole time to let God lead so that he’d be glorified in it. And so the adventure continues…living & loving God in all I do. (Eph. 5:2)
